The Feeling of 'I am Doing'

We all at times and many times think and feel that we do everything the way wanted by the time we scheduled and at the venue we wanted. It rarely happens that way. When we see some things happening due to our actions and thoughts .... we erroneously and by ego think that what happened was purely due to us .... and that the circumstance, situation, the plot were all designed by us .... and that we celebrate the event s a successful does. In fact all of us very well know, how little of us was part of the event as a Does. To realize this we just need to list out the components of any kinds of success story and I am sure we will realize.

DOING IS NECESSARY ... BUT NOT WITH EGO .... WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS MAY NOT BE 100%. AS YOU WANTED .... IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. WHATEVER HAPPENS IS WITH U AND THE UNKNOWN WITHIN OR WITHOUT YOURSELF.

NOW PRONOUNCE 'I AM COMPLETE BUT INVARIABLY ALONG WITH WHAT IS BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION.'

The Blocking Feature of Twitter

Twitter some time back modified its blocking mechanism which let unwanted Twitter followers re-tweet, like or peer at messages in public accounts of people who block them.

With more and more people hopping on to Twitter, it is Twitters responsibility to safe guard users interests lest they opt out. As I understand many of the users of Twitter and other Social Networks don't really understand these options ad settings. Their sites should put things in simple ways which could be understood even by not so Tech Savvy People

Social Media Access - to what extent?

The Fact that people these days spend considerable amount of their days time on Social media. The intrusion of Social media is quite visible at home, in office and while travelling. Earlier the options were, to talk face to face or to write letters or to telephone and interact. I think people at that situation still did not have that anonymity for free expression. Now Social media like facebook etc. have totally changed the way we behave and socialize in Society. Right and Wrong yet to be researched.

My son bought one for himself saying it will boost his studies and efficiency!

Supreme Court of India played safe by upholding homosexuality as a crime once again, over riding High Court decision.

Sociologists define society as a system of usages and procedures of authority and mutual aid.
Society has many practice and beliefs which are implied and in vogue but never approved or accepted formally. Sex is one of those.
Society world over has varying levels of restrictions on sexual orientation. Differential legislations are testimonials for this.
Unfortunately law usually tries to ensure what was right some time back. The wrong that is right according to law has to be accepted by people till a new law comes into force which disproves the old wrong and assures people new lease and relief.

Mysteries surround sex life and practices of people world over. What is explicit is not implicit and what is implicit is not explicit. Mysteriously majority people in society often continue to get engaged in certain practices and way of thinking (either right or wrong) over centuries. These right or wrong practices and beliefs surprisingly are never accepted formally or explicitly in society. This allows people to do certain things as long as are not caught or questioned. When occasion demands, even the very people who practice believe such will hide away from being explicit.

ALAS! WHAT A HYPOCRACY? THOSE WHO TREATED A TRUTHFUL PATH IN THESE REGARDS ARE EXPLICITLY LAGELLED AS VILLAIANS AND ANTI SOCIAL AND IMMORAL.

Anti Superstition bill for Maharastra .......

Contribution of Dr.Dabholkar towards dissipation of superstitions in society is well known in Maharastra.
Dr.Kovoor of Srilanka and Dr.Narasimhiah of Karnataka are forerunners in such efforts.
Interestingly Superstitions are so much linked to God, power, super power and belief ..... any minor error in legislating would bring in lots of mis understandings in society which would be irreparable later.
Hope the proposed bill drafted by Dr.Dabholkar becomes a Law in the near future. But act of caution is very much required before it become a law.

Little Oxford English Dictionary defines boss as a person who is in charge of other people at work. Normally the word Boss is avoided in Professional / Research writings. The word “Boss” seems to be loaded , associated with meanings like arrogance, authority, unlimited power, highly unpredictable behavior etc. As every one knows there are lots of sayings, quotations and Phrases on Boss and bossing, the best known being BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Many aspire to be a boss , very few succeed. People have lots of perceptions, stories about their bosses. Bosses have many qualities, but the most important is their being successful in their jobs. The mysterious and puzzling thing to many people is, ‘ a boss known to be notorious, strict, dry, negative, egoistic, highly political and tactical and unethical and not so much professional …. Succeeds many a times. Such examples mislead and raise serious questions on hard work, sincerity and honesty. What if a BOSS is good, honest, sincere, hard working and at the same time highly successful, productive and development pro?

Every one knows this but no one accepts it 100% When it comes to reality. No one wants the other person to be committing a mistake or be wrong at something. We always want others including God to be considerate and good to us. But we don’t apply the same principles when it comes to us. It is time we realize that good and evil is part and parcel of every mortal individual in this world. Let us not be in search of a good person …. But continue to search goodness in people who are just around us.

It is proved time and again that the HUMAN BEINGS are the most dangerous animals on the planet. They are intelligent, gregarious, powerful and selfish. They continue to believe that they are the masters and have full authority to exploit, use or destroy any thing (natural resources and bio species) for their advantage. Shall we be little more kind to animals and creatures around us who complete the ecological balance very much necessary for our own survival?
